Literature Text
Petals curved with precise perfection
Silky surfaces displayed in splendor.
Wafting scent oozing wonder,
Of a Creator’s touch so tender.
Decoratively and delicately arrayed,
Resplendent in residing glory.
A soft velvety vibrance of colour.
Content to tell Creation’s story.
An exquisite design of delight.
A true testament to God’s power and might.

Ache
I'm asking for pain
To feel her fears.
I'm asking for sorrow
To cry all her tears.
You asked me to be
Like you to the world;
You felt my pain,
So help me feel hers.
If somehow it takes
Some pain from her heart,
Then lay it on me;
Let the fearfulness start.
Oh Lord, let my heart
Ache without ceasing
If somehow it keeps
Her own from increasing.
You bore my pain,
My sin and my shame
And you bore hers
On your holy name.
You ease all my woes
But also you said
"Bear each other's burdens"
Written in red.
So if I right now
Can erase her tears
Then lay on me
Her sorrow and fears.
Wound my heart til it breaks
And break i

The Piano
The Piano
She gives it all she does posess
The worn instrument\'s sound is dim
How to create beauty, she cannot assess
She plays the keys upon a whim
A tear streams down her cheek
So warm against her skin
This one girl - soft-spoken and meek
Must find the soul within
Desperately with sadness she plays
Her beautiful, mournful tune
This which her heart portrays
But her song must die too soon
Strong is the power of her art
That lone girl, who was so sad
Created a song from her heart
And gave it all she had

Letting You Go
Holding on to your memory for so long,
Regretting everything I had done wrong,
But today is going to be different for me,
I'm going to finally set the memory free.
I just want to give them one last look,
After this, I will at last close this book.
I can remember holding you so tight,
You being with me just felt so right,
Feeling your gentle touch and kiss,
Every bit of it I cannot help but miss.
I hadn't been the same since that day,
Every morning and night, nothing to say,
Loved ones giving me support and care,
Even so, it was still too much to bear.
Even looking back at it all now can bring pain,
But I'm finally feeling

Well I wrote this last night.
Was in a creative mood, so grabbed some paper and a pencil and sketched a pretty cool (IMHO) flower.
And then I wrote this poem to go with it.
Unfortunately we don't have a workable scanner, so I can't show you my flower, but I'm not sure how the sketching would turn out scanned anyway lol.
So anyway, let me know what you think please!!

I love this poem!! It's easy to read, yet with a deep meaning. I love the alliteration most though...don't ask why.
